Movement Meditations


What if the cyclical nature of breath moving in and out, one foot stepping after another, and the organic free flow of movement was your beat, your repetition, your meditation? What would turn? What would settle? What would presence itself?

In these drop in Open Floor Meditation Cycles, we alternate sitting, walking, and dancing to draw attention inward, be with our body breathing, and build the fortitude and inner strength to meet whatever arises with ease.

All are welcome to join, whether you're a new or seasoned practitioner of movement or meditation.

The Open Floor is a conscious dance practice that uses a set of physical, emotional and mindful movement resources to support us in staying present and aware of how we are and where we are.

These drop-in Meditation Cycles, in particular, will be supported by all kinds of music and soundscapes as well as creative contemplative prompts. If you would like more “teaching” or to deepen in your study of embodiment or the Open Floor movement resources, I recommend exploring a 6-week series or signing up for 1:1 coaching with Teresa.
